dear friends in RIT and Egypt

Dear all RIT friends who are now working in campus cafeteria;


We cant work in stations where we have to serve pork products.However, we can still work in other department such as cash, coffee shop, utilities and many more, as long as we don't have to serve the pork products. I know that this might be late, but I have been searching for this issue to some ustaz here and Malaysia.


I asked Dr Waleed, an Egyptian surgeon who is also US medical advisor yesterday, is it the same as the 10 group of people who involved directly and indirectly in arak issue?

                  Ibnu Tarmizi dan Ibnu Majah pernah meriwayatkan:

                   “Rasulullah s.a.w melaknat sepuluh golongan yang berkaitan dengan arak: yang memerasnya (memerahnya), yang minta diperaskannya, yang meminum, yang membawa, yang minta dihantari, yang menuangkannya, yang menjual, yang makan harganya, yang membeli dan yang meminta dibeli.”

and should we use 'qias' method where;

arak=non-halal, and we who are involved in non-halal food in the same situation?

I believed he said no,as we are now in States, where you buy groceries and clothes in stores selling arak/non-halal food too,dont you?so,he asked us to meet our interfaith leader (Dr Rauf Bhawany, I guess) to prepare a certificate to explain that we Muslim student worker cannot handle the assigned work to cafe's manager.

''berurusan @ bermuamalah ( jual beli ) dengan orang-orang kafir dan tempat-tempat yang haram ada 2 ketegorinya : 

1) benar-benar yakin kerja full time dia merompak, atau kilang arak, syarikat 100% sumber haram : maka tidak di benarkan oleh majoriti ulama. ( maaf sy tidak sempat link kan sumber rujukannya, mgkin lain kali ). 

2) sumber yg bercampur ( seperti tauke 7eleven, giant )iaitu bukan dari aktiviti kerja @ syarikatnya 100% dari sumber yang haram : maka dibenarkan kepada umat islam. Ini berdasarkan kepada hadis-hadis nabi SAW bermuamalah ( jual beli ) dengan kaum yahudi pada ketika itu, para ulamak memberi ulasan : sedangkan mereka ini ( yahudi ) memang terkenal melakukan aktiviti-aktiviti yg haram seperti Riba dan sebagainya.''

and for me, I do learn my lessons.

when I was involved in minor car accident on Friday night,in New Jersey,

I begin thinking and reflecting myself,

may the money I should prepare for the rental car damages (as two rental cars were involved) wasn't the blessed one? I already quited one of my job last two weeks. And another one after this. = = Yes,I know I will not starve without both of my part-time jobs. And yes, I said at the beginning of this post we can still working in cafe, but I choose to avoid it as a whole. Yes, I did a mistake, recognized it, trying not to repeat it again and make better decision to correct it. 

do make more research and ask more alim ulama' about this issue,as I am not the only one involved.

p/s : I am so damn worried about a lot my beloved friends in Egypt right now. Really hope they are safe, eventhough surrounded by the chaos. Ya Allah,selamatkan orang-orang tersayang saya di sana. Seluruh Muslim di bumi Kinanah juga. Apa-apa yang berubah di Mesir akan ubah masa depan Ghaza jugak. Tapi, harapnya keadaan akan segera pulih. please don't, they love you so much till they don't have the guts to tell

afraid of losing might be the issue

well,all in all, it was fun though! i'm totally loving it.but make it as smooth as planned so that not more than 1 life was tortured.

Thank you Allah.

I asked for STRENGTH,

but Allah gave me difficulties to make me strong.

I asked for WISDOM,

and Allah gave me problems to solve.

I asked for COURAGE,

and Allah gave me obstacles to overcome.

I asked for LOVE,

and Allah gave me troubled people to help.

I asked for FAVORS,

and Allah gave me opportunities.

Maybe I received nothing I wanted,

but I received everything I needed.

worth-to-visit blogs

alhamdulillah aku masih ada peristiwa subuhku.

tapi perlu ke nk update blog pagi2 hari,tatkala 3 exam berebut2 nk isi kapasiti brain aku?ntah la.

baru sedar aku dah terjerumus terjatuh gaung blogging.

one obvious reason: pagi-pagi je dh merangkak-rangkak membaca blog orang. buku akademik tidak la nk khatam habis.

routine aku selalunya:

1) pegi blog joegrimjoe, dh jadi mcm paper ak setiap hari,dh xbca berita harian metro segala

2)more serious sket,pegi blog incik sasterawan faizal tehrani , kadang-kadang ak paham,kadang-kadang tak. tapi ak suka keteguhan prisipnya.

3) blog inspiration aku-->amalina peter & abqari hamid . beauty with brain. bukan tu je, family and business sekali. i know perfection doesnt exist but i do adore her.

4) blog ni kalau baca sumpah nangis. not the primrose path. walaupun penulisnya telah pergi mengadap Ilahi,blognya masih menjadi guide aku untuk muhasabah diri.sekarang ni mama dia yg buat sambungan,ceritakan detik-detik terakhir arwah bertarung dengan kanser.

5) irene nadia marcello. dulu aku just tertarik sebab nk tw btul ke dia ni adik-beradik marcello.pdhal tak pun. but then, she's just the prettiest&sweetest girl alive. gmbar tunang sgt adorable okay.

6)eh mana bleh lupa dgn wardina safiyyah. cerita seorang ibu dan idola wanita muslimah. tapi dh lama xupdate =(. busy mgkin. so just stalk kt fb je=D haha

7)sggah plak kt annemishi . mmg sgt tak plain pon blog hg anneh. dont worry, xdela ksar pon gya bahasa, i like it instead.cool,remember dear?=)

8) jariku berbicara. kalau ak down,ak jenguk2 ke sini. kalau tak banyak,sikit pon ak mesti dapat input yg bermakna. one of my best friends.

9) fargeek's word. diamond blog. precious sgt post2 dia. secantik semanis orangnya.ye tak?=)

10) ini kalau ak nk spending leisure time dgn unique point of view. sebab blog ni matang.haha.remaja yang matang

11) aku::mahu::cendol-walaupun dia kta dia merepek,tp ak layan je dia merepek. just heads up to hows life in uk is,mana tw nk g sna plak=)peace~dai

12) my ups and down-dia kata dia wt berpuluh draft dulu sebelum post something. biasala,orang awesome. awesomeness is in the gene,kn?keep it up man.<--- rsa manly x?haha

A Girl's Heart Desire

Sometimes,
I want to open my hijab,
and show the world,
that I too,
am beautiful in the people's definition.

But,
deep down here,
in my little heart,
I know that beauty is by definition,
a mystery.
and it is forever more rewarding,
to be beautiful in God's eyes.

Sometimes,
I want to wear ruffled dresses and tight jeans,
show off what I really look like,
under those baggy shirts and loosely fitted pants,
make a statement,
that I too,
have a figure and worth looking at.

But,
I know better,
to avoid entering the world of men's imagination,
for I love my future husband,
and I am ashamed,
what should be his, has already been unveiled by others.

Sometimes,
I want to show the world,
the other side of me,
the bubblier, bolder, and crazier me.
put myself on display,
for everyone to see,
to be desired, and admired upon.

But,
I know that eyes are not just eyes,
seeing is not just seeing,
image and respect are gained,
shame and humility deserve a better place,

Because in the end,
it is not just about me,
I carry a lot of impressions and expectations,
of what a Muslim girl should be,

I am covered by the word "Islam" the moment I walk out of my door,
So don't be selfish girl,

Can't you put behind your heart's desire for something worth fighting for?

Love is all it takes.
Love.

guess what?

its January 1st 2011. so I am 21 now?wow! time flies so fast yet too high to catch.

aim for 2011: spread the love,strengthen the ukhwah=D

this post is dedicated to my friend who want me to share input from muktamar,so here it goes;

Understanding Islamophobia (by Ust Syamsi Ali, Ust M. Joban, Ust M. Ridha)

Islamophobia is not something new,really, its a natural process to convey Allah's message to humankind. Do you think the prophets back then didnt encounter the challenges? They do, in fact, worse than our situation. Prophets Nuh, Ibrahim, Musa, Muhammad have been challenged harshly by their people when they convey their dakwah.

Prob/causes:

1) When people take religion from IT/mass media, they solely believe what they saw/heard/read

2) 'dominating' factor.

3) political fear: scared that Muslim will take over a particular land

4) Muslim behave nicely, yet they afraid it will influence more and more people to convert

5) its natural, hating Syariah laws because it contradicts their habit (drinking and such)

Solutions:

1) convincing that Islam is the most rational teaching of all

2)reaching out the interfaith leader

3) continuing dakwah

ohh yeah, the focus of this convention is ''In the Spirit of Humility, Reaching Out for All Humanity''

We must handle the phenomenon with care. How to indirectly educate others?

be a good Muslim.

and when you want educate somebody,please:

1) understand their level of knowledge

2) understand their level of background

3) understand their level of current understanding

because you dont want to go into scientific details with person know nothing about it, and you dont want to quote Quranic verse and try to impress someone when his/her doesn't even believe in his/her Bible. or you go with ''you dont know Islam?,the most fastest growing religion in the world?how ignorant..'' and yet crashed his/her curiousity. Do you know there are 80 faiths in the world?(according to what I heard once),we are the one who being ignorant.

So,remember:

1) open minds, be sincere towards self and others.

2) have a good knowledge with our own faith, other's faith, science & facts in general, word choice

3) dont be emotional, patience is the key

: ex, a claim that science dont prove something in Quran,tell them that science is still a process. back in 1951, scientist treated invasive cervical carcinoma aggressively because it was deadly and carcinoma in situ was not, isn't? later then, they found carcinoma in situ was the early stage of invasive one,no?(LOL,HeLa in mood,sorry).all i want to say is its a process dear. Scientific approach will support the carving words in the spectacular mukjizat,I believe.

Why is it important to reach out?

1) Protects others not to go down into traps

2) See everybody else around us as positively-potential people

3) Diversity- until the Day of Judgement, we could not make everyone else have same faith as ours.

*Respecting diversity: Our goal is not to MAKE them Muslim, but convey the message of Allah. beyond than that, leave it to servant-Creator relationship, I believe.
